A cornerstone of our VET program is the person-centred "My Plan" process. This initiative involves students and their families in planning for life after school, creating a living document that outlines the student's goals and aspirations. The 'My Plan' guides students towards suitable pathways, which may include Nationally Recognised Certificate Courses and School-Based Traineeships (SBTs). SBTs are available to students who demonstrate the appropriate attitudes, skills, and interest in specific industry areas.
Students who meet the language, literacy and numeracy requirements (LLN) have access to a wide range of external TAFE Certificates and skillset programs in industries such as Logistics, Construction, Community Services, Painting and Decorating, Automotive, Animal Care, and Horticulture. Some students attend TAFE one day a week, with support from school staff if needed, while others receive training at school through an auspicing arrangement. Our school-based courses include Certificate I in Horticulture, delivered and assessed by teachers with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and recent industry experience.
Framework (AQTF) have these competencies recorded on their Western Australian Statement of Student Achievement (WASSA) and/or Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). The goal is to position each student for successful entry-level employment or further study upon graduation.
Our partnerships with training organisations and employers provide opportunities for students to achieve a range of nationally recognised certificates and School-Based Traineeships, including:
Certificate I in Horticulture
Certificate II in Horticulture
Certificate II in Hospitality
Certificate II in Building and Construction (Pathway Trades) Painting and Decorating

Certificate II in Rural Operations
Certificate II in Workplace Skills
Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation

These partnerships and programs ensure students receive comprehensive training and are well-prepared for the next stage of future career and education pathways.
